HMR2 series · spec 300 · Helical, foot-mount family
HMR2-300 helical rotary actuator
3,150 Nm driving torque at 210 bar, 180° rotation, in foot mount. The HMR2-300 is 5th of 7 sizes in the HMR2 foot-mount range, built to order for steering and positioning duties on mobile equipment, where the housing bolts down onto a flat bracket face and the shaft carries the steering arm.
It sits between HMR2-280 at 2,830 Nm and HMR2-450 at 4,400 Nm.
Specifications — HMR2-300
| Rated driving torque | 3,150 Nm |
|---|---|
| Rated pressure | 210 bar |
| Rotation | 180° |
| Mounting | FT — Foot |
| Output shaft | 1F / 2F |

HMR2 is rated at 210 bar continuous; peak pressure and flow at the actuator are checked against your circuit. 180° is the standard rotation on HMR2. A 360° build is quoted only after engineering confirmation.
What the code means
Every HMR2 unit is specified the same way. If your tag carries a different suffix, the base size is still HMR2-300.

Models customers compare with HMR2-300
These are the models that sit in the same torque class and come up in the same enquiries. They are comparable references, not validated substitutions — we confirm the mounting pattern, shaft and port details against your unit before quoting.

Comparable performance based on rated torque class for engineering comparison. The mounting interface must be confirmed by our engineering team before quotation.
What we check before quoting
On the unit
- Mounting pattern and bolt spacing
- Shaft type, spline or keyway, and length
- Port size, thread form and valve arrangement
On the machine
- Available envelope and tie-rod clearance
- Working pressure and flow at the actuator
- Rotation stops and any mechanical limits
HMR2-300 questions
What can I use in place of an HMR2-300?
We build the HMR2-300 itself to order, and where an HMR2-300 is no longer available we quote the closest HM HMR2 build and confirm the fit against your unit. We do not publish a one-to-one substitution table, because mounting pattern, shaft, port thread and valve arrangement have to match your machine, not just the torque class.
Is HMR2-300 a direct replacement for Helac L20-25?
No — we do not claim a verified drop-in for any other make. Enquiries for this torque class arrive tagged as Helac L20-25, HKS M-DA-H-F7 125, Moveco RP40, Sungji SRB-140; we treat those as comparable references and compare rated torque, mounting interface, shaft and ports before quoting the HMR2-300 build that suits your machine.
How is the HMR2-300 order code put together?
The pattern is HMR2-{spec}-180-FT-{output}-{valve}. A worked example is HMR2-095-180-FT-1F-NV. Rotation, mount, output and valve are chosen per machine, so the code on your drawing is what we build to.
